Why departure coordination matters
Sending a helper is not only about buying a flight ticket. The helper needs documents, medical preparation, travel readiness, and departure coordination before she can travel to Singapore.
Estimated timeline: 4–8 days after IPA
After MOM issues the helper’s IPA, deployment usually takes approximately 4–8 days. Timing depends on Myanmar-side departure readiness, medical and document completion, airport procedures, flight availability, public holidays, and unexpected processing delays.
MMHelpers only collects the helper’s agreed 3-month salary loan. This amount helps cover the necessary deployment expenses to bring the helper from Myanmar to Singapore.
Example salary
SGD 500/month
Actual salary depends on employer and helper agreement.
3-month salary loan
SGD 1,500
SGD 500/month × 3 months = SGD 1,500.

Helper finder if needed
If you do not have a helper yet, we can help with ex-Oman, fresh, ex-SG, or direct helper options.
Direct-hire support is our main service. But if you do not have a helper yet, we can help you review possible candidates. We do not host many helpers because our main goal is pre-interview, validation, preparation, and coordination.
Ex-Oman helpers
Experienced overseas helpers who may adjust faster than very fresh helpers.
Fresh helpers
Candidates who need more preparation and expectation setting.
Ex-Singapore helpers
Helpers with Singapore experience, depending on availability.
Helpers in Thailand
Some cases may have simpler travel or departure arrangements depending on the helper’s situation.
How helper finder works
Only when employer does not have a helper yet
01 · We review candidate options
We check available helpers based on your home needs and helper availability.
02 · You interview and decide
The final hiring decision belongs to you and the helper.
03 · We prepare the helper
We support basic interview, expectation, and learning preparation where possible.
04 · We continue with direct-hire support
After both sides agree, the case moves into our direct-hire coordination process.
Direct hire can reduce agency-style fees and give employers more control, but the helper still needs adjustment. Performance, communication, and household fit can vary from one home to another.
Employer still makes the final decision
MMHelpers can screen, prepare, and coordinate, but the final hiring decision and household suitability review belong to the employer.
English speaking and communication
Some helpers may still need time to improve practical English and daily communication confidence.
Singapore household style
Work expectations, routines, food habits, employer preferences, and household pace in Singapore can still feel different.
Personality and long-term fit
Long-term compatibility depends on the employer, helper, home environment, and communication from both sides.
Learn what employers should realistically expect, how fresh helpers usually adjust, communication tips, common misunderstandings, and how to improve long-term helper success at home.
Especially useful for:
First-time Singapore employers
Employers hiring fresh helpers
Families unsure what to expect
Employers comparing direct hire options
MMHelpers supports employers with Myanmar-side coordination, helper preparation, process planning, and direct-hire support.
Document collection and checking
Medical checkup arrangement
Myanmar-side departure coordination
Flight planning and arrival settlement
MMHelpers is not a licensed Singapore maid agency and does not offer agency-style guarantees. Employers should complete their own Singapore-side responsibilities and review each case carefully.
Singapore-side requirements
Employer handles the Singapore-side Work Permit application, IPA, security bond, insurance, and related employer responsibilities.
Estimated 4–8 day deployment
Deployment usually takes approximately 4–8 days after MOM issues the helper’s IPA. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date and may vary depending on departure readiness, documents, medical status, airport procedures, and flight availability.
We carefully screen, prepare, and match every helper to give both employer and helper the best opportunity for a successful long-term placement.
If a genuine mismatch still happens, eligible employers may receive one Replacement Support within the first 3 months of the original helper’s arrival.
For an approved replacement
MMHelpers shares the replacement cost with the employer instead of charging the normal full loan again.
Employer pays only a 2-month salary loan for the replacement helper.
MMHelpers absorbs the equivalent of the remaining 1-month salary loan.
The benefit is available one time only for each original placement.
The replacement request must be reported and approved within the first 3 months.
Communication and mediation first
Before approving a replacement, MMHelpers first reviews the situation and supports both employer and helper through communication, expectation review, guidance, and reasonable mediation.
Replacement Support may not apply when
The employer changes the agreed duties or household conditions, no longer requires a helper, refuses reasonable mediation, repeatedly changes helpers without reasonable grounds, or the helper leaves because of abuse, unsafe treatment, or unlawful requests.
One-time benefit
After the one-time Replacement Support has been used, any additional helper arrangement follows MMHelpers’ standard 3-month salary loan. The benefit is not transferable, refundable, or exchangeable for cash.
Replacement Support is subject to MMHelpers’ review and is not automatically approved. Final helper compatibility cannot be guaranteed because every household and helper are different.
MMHelpers also plans learning and daily communication tools to support smoother preparation and household adjustment.
Helper learning platform
Simple English, interview preparation, household vocabulary, and basic Singapore readiness support for helpers.
Daily communication tools
Routine and task tools that help employers explain expectations more clearly after the helper arrives.
Start with the right path
MMHelpers supports the direct-hire Myanmar-side process, from documents and medical to departure coordination, flight planning, and arrival settlement.
